I’m a Presbyterian Church (USA) Minister of Word and Sacrament living and working in Starkville, MS. Since my ordination in 1977, I’ve served as a campus minister and pastor in Alabama, Kentucky, and Mississippi.
I see every day as a sacrament and try to reflect that perspective in my writing. What I mean is that if God can take ordinary things like bread, wine, and water and make them vehicles of his grace, he can also fill the ordinary routine of life with signs of love and glimpses of truth. As Frederick Buechner said, “there is no chance thing through which God cannot speak…” (The Sacred Journey).
Whether you’re looking for inspiration, guidance or simply a good read, I hope you find it here. Blessings!

Hey Tom,
I wrote you an email yesterday to catch up, only to receive it back as “undeliverable” You have changed your email address in the many months since we spoke last. I googled you and found this great site. Way to go! Very cool.
I hope you are doing well. I don’t have any big news, I was just thinking about you and wanted to reconnect.
Take care!
peace,
Martha
